Going Green in the Cafeteria

This year our class has had some ambitious goals for our school.  One of our main goals was to get the foam food trays out of the lunchroom.  After discussion with the Food Service Director we decided to start with removing the plates and purchased biodegradable trays.  This has been a huge move and the cafeteria people are excited about making a difference.  Kids are being very passionate and sharing their concerns about helping our environment.  Here is our lunch lady with the new trays. Thank you climate resiliency program for supporting our goal.
